Department for Education - ServiceNow WOW! Portal

This concept was developed for the Department for Education to demonstrate how Monochrome’s WOW! Portal can be fully tailored to reflect both departmental identity and broader government design principles. The aim was to enhance the internal digital experience for DfE staff by delivering a user-centric, branded portal that makes it easier to access IT support and self-service tools.

As a UK government department, the DfE follows HM Government branding standards, while incorporating distinctive elements aligned to its own visual identity. Monochrome applied the UK Government Design System to ensure accessibility, consistency, and usability across the portal. Built on the ServiceNow Service Portal framework, the WOW! Portal features advanced UX/UI design, configurable modular widgets, and seamless branding, enabling DfE employees to efficiently manage IT requests, approvals, and access to knowledge resources.
